ENGINEERG:The question should be what have you benefited from your state since 1999, at least Lagos is and has been the safety net for Nigerians. Those of us that knows what Oshodi, Iyana Ipaja, Ikorodu even Lekki, Victoria Island looks like prior to 1999 will testify to the massive development that has happened in Lagos. I've spent over 30years in Lagos, so I know where we were coming from and where we are. Same can't be said of other states, they remain the same for over 30years. I've traveled far and wide and I can tell you no state government is intentional about development like Lagos State an the facts are there. Check Lagos revenue prior to 1999 and compare with 2002, you can only get revenue where there is both human and capital development, the monies didn't come from heaven. In the 80's people from the West rate Ibadan above Lagos, check demographic statistics Lagos has not always been what it is now. And just to inform you Lagos as a capital is different from Lagos State. Lagos is made up of 5 Divisions, Ikorodu, Badagry, Ikeja, Lagos Island, Epe (IBILE). Only a part of old Lagos Island was the Capital. So bury that age long federal capital narrative. Abuja has been capital for over 30years but still can't rival Lagos. Homelessness is synonymous to highbrow areas, most Nigerians in US are homeless. You can't expect the government to provide free housing for 25million people that keeps leaving their villages for Lagos. Lagos is run by the most cerebral Civil service and government you can get in Nigeria....Fact Bring the credentials of those that have ruled Lagos since 1999 (Tinubu, Fashola, Ambode, Sanwo) side by side with that of other states and let's see who is ruled by Touts.

ENGINEERG:It like I am wasting my time ague with some like you who can't differentiate between politic and Good governance. Good governance means continuity in development in both Infrastructures and human development in the states which is happening in Lagos Irrespective of who is the political leader of that state or country .you were claiming Lagos was developed since when it was state capital Territory since far back up to 30years ago .how does that make sense to you in term of where Lagos is today? What you have gained since 1999 democracy in Lagos state is what attracting Every tribe e.g Igbo's to leave and get their daily means in Lagos.

adekolaelect:Don't wast your time with that guy. He is typical Igbo and will never ever say the truth, because of hate for others, even if such is staring him in the face Koro Koro. How many times will real eye-witness Lagosians who genuinely love the state, like myself, tell these Igbos the wretched, unsecured and parlous condition of Lagos before 1999 when Tinubu took over? Federal Government had fully and unashamedly abandoned Lagos to her fate in preference for sinking every available dollar into their Oasis in the desert they built and designed Abuja to be with the money of Nigeria. If Lagos, post 1999, had even average leadership then the State would be no better than Abia today. Yet they will continue with their hogwash of"Lagos is easy to lead"and "Lagos was developed with Nigeria's wealth" just to deny Yoruba leaders of Lagos any credit for the outstanding job done developing the most challenging State, by far, in Nigeria. Don't bother yourself in future. Igbos are creatures of hate beyond redemption or core decency. |

A spacebar counter is a tool where you can set your world record, and you can improve your spacebar button speed. You need to hit (press and release) your spacebar as many times as possible before time's up. |
