Ghanaian actress, Rosemond Brown a.k.a Akuapem Poloo has been convicted over the publication of her nude photos with her 7-year-old son.

The actress who had displayed her naked pictures with her son on social media on June 30, 2020, was arraigned on three count of publication of obscene materials, engaging in domestic violence, a conduct that in any way undermines another person’s privacy or integrity and engaging in domestic violence namely conduct that in any way detracts or is likely to detract from another person’s dignity and worth as a human being.

Akuapem pleaded "not guilty" when was first arraigned but changed it "guilty" when rearraigned on Wednesday April 14. She was then convicted by Her Honour, Christiana Cann of Accra Circuit Court on her own plea.

EIB Network's Court Correspondent, Murtala Inusah reported that the court has deferred her sentencing to Friday April 16 for her to undergo a pregnancy test in compliance with the law regarding a woman who has pleaded guilty in court.

Child Rights International has petitioned the Inspector-General of Police in Ghana to investigate actress Akuapem Poloo over her nude photo with her seven-year-old son, which has since gone viral on social media.

On Tuesday, June 30, the actress went completely nude in a photoshoot with her son to celebrate him on his 7th birthday. She said she decided to go naked in front of her son who was only in his underwear because she gave birth to him naked.

Akuapem Poloo has since apologized after facing social media backlash.

But in a statement by Child Rights International, the non-governmental organisation deemed her act as a 'violation of the welfare principle of the Children’s Act and abuse of the child’s right to privacy and dignity.'

The organisation also asked that the Inspector-General of Police in Ghana investigate the actress over the nude photo with her son.

She is more interested in the attention this will generate and showing her assets, as opposed to portraying an intimate picture with she and her son. Just as women are taking naked pregnant photoshot to romanticise pregnancy, this is one of it, and worse yet to come, if she is not called to order. I can only imagine how insecure she has to be to need public eye and focus just to be sane.

She could have just kept the pics as private, no need to share it with the world. Any woman that looks at that pics knows what's up, if they condemn her, it probably because they ain't hot themselves. Nevertheless, this is child abuse. Woke people, men or women are generally stu.pid, just like her, and if they are not called to order, they would burn down culture and rationalise nonsense just to be relevant.

Na women go destroy this world if politics fails to.

This is part of the reason why we need responsible men. Men who are not hypocrites but real practitioners of the Christian values.

The proliferation of baby mamas everywhere these days is the reason for this increasing immorality. Some years back when there were men who were responsible and kept their homes intact. Husbands of one wife and Fathers of their children. The boys learnt what it really was to be real men. They saw their fathers labour hard and still kept their reputation but these days these values are lost.

Look around you. These boys these days. They are not men are just getting all these brainless girls pregnant while not staying put to take care of these children as loving husbands and Fathers.
