Ruiz was unranked when he gave Joshua the beating of his life in America.

Joshua had to run around in the rematch to beat a man who came in heaviest in his career for an already heavy man for that matter.

Really! Klitschko washed up for a performance that he was hailed for that day.A lot of boxing fans said it was one of his best performance in his career.He held that bet for 10years he has to be good enough to be able to do that.
If the others are that bad what were they doing in that ranking of top 10? In short how did they get to that point of becoming the next mandatory contender for Joshua's belt?

Well not to talk too much the match will soon happen.

In terms of who has had the best matchups, Fury is no where near AJ. Before Wilder, he faced Otto Wallin, who slapped him around no be small... with Wilder (remember he wore a misguided 'tank' down the aisle and was on his feet pacing back and forth for more than an hour before the fight)everyone knows, Wilder is not a pound-for-pound nor a worthy opponent. Getting Wilder past the 5th round, checking that right hand and getting on the inside and anyone will beat Wilder(something Ortiz failed twice due to his age to learn about) Fury knew this and so the 2nd time he used it against him. Fury is no pound-for-pound, he boxes funny, is a clinger on the inside, and mouths off trying to get into your head, throwing hands up at the end of every round trying to sway the judges. All AJ needs is focussed discipline, the kind he switched to in the Ruiz 2nd fight. However, now, he needs to adapt it to a bigger Ruiz, avoid the clinging, working on the inside and get ready to pace the first 5 rounds and then switch it up in the latter rounds.
Either way, it's going to be a one person wins the first, the other gets his revenge on the 2nd - that's how the money is made

Size at this level matters less if you lack the requisite skills to match it. I don't know the nikolai guy but Fury with that size plus that level of skills should cut through josh like butter.

Joshua is 6.6 Fury is 6.9.

Whats the big deal?? Joshua is a well rounded athlete. My money is on Joshua.

Just look at the people you mentioned.

Whyte? Charles Martins? Even Dominic that Wilder knocked out in Round 1.

Wilder already demolished Dominic. He will send Charles to the Heavens with a single right.

And yet Fury dominated Wilder, and beat the shit out of him.

In fact, the best fighter that AJ has beaten is Wladmir Klitschko.

And Fury had already beaten Klitschko, even while Klitschko was active.

AJ fought an inactive Klitschko some two years after Fury.

And yet Klitschko still made him kiss the canvas.

From a professional, this is kind of strange. Physical superiority isnt enough to win a game of boxing.. Alot of others factors come into play

Aj is soft no doubt. That's what Floyd told him at the ring side. He needs to match his muscles with some aggressive brutality to beat Fury.

His lack of boxing fundamentals is very glaring and I'm quite surprised Fury didn't win the first encounter ( throws a little doubt on Fury's capabilities as well )
