What don't you understand? Edwin Clark is advocating for presidency of SE extraction for equity and justice! The Igbos in Delta and Rivers are in the South South, so now that South South has ruled through Jonathan while South East has not, it is common sense that SE should be allowed to rule.

I am not talking of strangers living in ikwerre land speaking ibo....I am talking about the pure ikwerre man and his language itself, it is not ibo and will not even be understood by any ibo person, the reverse is also the case, unlike the other ethnic groups I mentioned that speak total ibo language.
Ikwerre used to be said to be ibo before because then they were one big LGA together with the ibo speaking ethnic group Etche and Omuma, it was known as Ikwerre/Etche LGA, but after Etche and Omuma was separated, we now had ikwerre LGA, Etche LGA, and Omuma LGA, this took away the ibo speaking groups from ikwerre. What we have now as the present day ikwerre does not speak and can only barely understand ibo.

But I'm open to learning from you, if you can mention the ikwerre that speak ibo. Not strangers residing in ikwerre.

E. K Clerk should speak for himself and Delta State only. Political parties and indeed Nigerians will choose who will represent them well come 2023.

Many Ikwerres like me can speak Igbo(Isoma) because most of our matrilineal lineage were of the Igbo stock. Most of our grandparents married Igbos, but we are not Igbos!

Some don't get it still. The North is fond of using igbos in rivers and delta to replace igbos of the southeast. This is a cunning way of denying the se of good in Nigeria which they (North) ve mastered. Mr Clark is simply stating the obvious, a wicked act that must stop.

He should have been more precise. He should have simply put " PDP should give their Presidential Ticket to the South East". Don't expect other Political party to do the same. Edwin Clark please speak for your party alone.

I love Niger Delta, it is the non Igbo will tell the Igbo speaking tribes of Ikwerre , Ika , Anioma with others that they are truly Igbo even if they pretend they are not Igbo...
