Britain is no longer in the European union thanks to brexit so they can make any law they want against whatever that's not in the countries interest. If they consider the superleague a non legitimate tournament they can deny work permit to those clubs that means no foreign players van be signed. Fifa and Uefa can ban their players from participating in their competition meaning no World cup and Euros for them. England Football Fa can ban English players playing for the big 6 from being called up to the national team as well or even signing English players.

The guys that played football those days did it for passion not for money because there was no money there as incentive that much. Reverse is the case today
