Imagine UEFA expelling them and giving PSG the title. The tournament don dey useless already

Maybe you have no idea what a closed league system is. The concept is very similar to what is present in the US.

Meanwhile, I don’t see how these guys are killing off an existing system. Other leagues will still be around, a free market ensures that there is innovation and creativity. They will adapt.

Why say that they are already rich? the big clubs have huge debts, even though their real revenues and cash flows can be more than what they get today, they continue to have negative cashflows every year because they must buy top players and invest massively to drive increased revenue. It just makes sense for them to explore other options for survival. Real and Barca, each has over 1 billion debt. Utd - 400m+, Chelsea - over 500m+ (indirect debt), Tottenham - 800m, Juventus - 400m.

Check the picture below, and tell me why Liverpool (EPL champ) should earn just 30m+ more than a club like Burnley that is number 10 on the log. The annual ROI for the big clubs is shyte compared to the small EPL clubs because their annual outlay is way significant. The big boys continue to invest big time, while every other person is benefiting. Change the revenue sharing model and see these guys forget about the super league.
Excellent points.

How do you think the new league will affect transfer fees?

I think them Burnley, Newcastle and co will start accepting peanuts for their players, meanwhile salaries will decrease on those clubs left behind.

It would be like NBA signing player from ABA, meanwhile to transfer between ESL clubs go be hundreds of millions

Can UEFA ban players for working for their employers? Even those already on long contracts? A player is required to play for his club in any competition abi no be so?
Ceferin and his brothers better pipe down (acting like someone took their favourite spiderman toy away) and not cut the head off to cure a headache. They just gast to negotiate here.

When has Bamford spoken out against racism or any of his teammates? Suddenly racism in football is a huge issue to him today in particular. Prime whataboutism.

Racism might not be an issue to him but he is just making the point that it is about money and power and everyone should know that.

You are absolutely right. The onus is on the FA to make the EPL and other competitions very competitive.

Who knows? maybe the super league will fail. Also, the FA and UEFA can still make their leagues the best, it will take time, but things will become better overtime.

They have done it before, they can do it again. Lol.

He has no business bringing up racism when it has nothing to do with what he was being asked. He was asked about the Superleague and proceeded to talk about Racism. Why did he stop at racism,he should have began an awareness campaign for Malaria,World hunger, Covid and ban of nuclear weapons as well.

Nuclear weapon kwa, how that one take enter football? Do you have those in football, do you have malaria in football? Are those big issues in football?
He was making a reference - like saying why is UEFA suddenly planning to ban players only because they are set to leave uefa's competition to make more money elsewhere? UEFA crying out only because someone is taking away from them what they assume they already own. The best reference to make was to racism. He said it correctly.

TRASH.
If you lack the ability to comprehend statements just say so so that people that can comprehend would help you dissect the statement till you are able to understand it well.

He simply said why Uefa is so much against Super League is because they would no longer be able to monopolize the profits and revenues, they are not after the good of football themselves, if they were they would have taken a strong stand against racism and discrimination.

How does this concern Malaria, World hunger, and Covid. -- Off point sad.

And for your information, he has always been against racism angry.

Y'all go check out FLO's press conference...

The ESL would be in no way affecting the EPL or any other domestic league

take it as there'll be no UCL nights instead an ESL nights for the big boys on weekdays and on weekend the big boys return home to play domestic league matches as usual...

I was being sacastic by the malaria and other parts. He was not making any reference bro. Go and watch the interview. What he was asked by the man

Interviewer: The last 24hrs have been dominated by the talks of the superleague, have the Leeds player have any time to absorb or discuss it at all.

Tell me how bringing up racism makes any bit of sense from that question. Did any racism issue happen in the last 24hrs.

So explain how the premier league will function and it's pyramid table? What happens to the top4 at the end of the season? If Liverpool/Tottenham finishes 20th who gets relegated? Why would the top6 team take the league seriously when it it has no significance at the end of the season?

I don't understand your Vexation with the proposed League. If People as you are this concerned with Nigeria League, perhaps the League might be on par with EPL and Co.

Who cares how PL and Co pan out? As far as I am entertained every mid-week with best of Football - Chikena. I don't understand why you're hawking the Matter like Gala in Traffic.

Look at Burnley Players? Do they look like Footballers? Some of them be like UFC Fighters. Too strong and rugged. They are in no way playing attractive Football, but gbas gbos kinda football.

Did you see United vs Burnley? Look at Wood, Westwood and Greenwood? Which of the Trio really looks like a football Player? Well..... correct Answer has said itself with a Brace and scintillating Performance.

Be honest with yourself, how many times have you sat down to see Matches like Burnley vs Westbrom? We're following EPL because of Top 6 Clubs. We're following UCL because of Real, Barca, Juventus and Co. It's just Bayern that gonna be missed, rest German Clubs are non existence.

Super League has come to stay. Can't wait to have PES2022 or FIFA2022 exclusively for Super League.

Imagine someone taking that clown Boris Johnson seriously. Bloody conman with his usual populist moves.

Uefa had better negotiate. No way they dont lose more in the long run.

Also their useless threats around banning the 3 teams in the semi-finals - Have they ever heard of Injunctive reliefs, I can just imagine the lawsuits from their media partners if they go ahead

Banning the players from their competition is even more ridiculous , not well thought out and shows who's on the panic mode - Maybe they should buy out all the players from their contracts. Morons dont even realise these clubs dont want their assets playing international games anyway

People evolve, life evolve, jobs evolve.. why not football?

Change is the only thing constant, whoever refuses change is not worthy of emulation and hence should be discarded with all alacrity.

Either UEFA upgrades and accept the competition or fizzle out and go to extinct..

There is no going back on ESL, it has come to stay and nothing no one can do about it kiss

But come to think of it, if these clubs succeed, then countries might follow suit in future by forming their own world cup tournament grin

Competition breathes innovation, let the winner takes all cool

fifa and uefa have already lost relevance in the eyes of the international community, see how americans turned fifa upside down because of hosting cheesy the only people wailing are people that can't affect change, I don't feel sorry for uefa, you have a global brand, after world cup it's uefa champions league final, ordinary nba dey generate billions in American market alone, you have the entire world's attention and you are making peanuts

Spot flick is a nothing company in Australia. There are only 2 big sports streaming services in Australia that could compete (Kayo and Optus). They are withdrawing because they went in with a blind bid to get the rights over Optus and realised they don't have the cash for it a few days ago cause no bank gave them the loan so this is an easy way out for them.
