If you know nothing about how things work in the U.k then make you research. It isn't like the US where the Constitution protects property rights. In the UK, the Parliament is sovereign and can do anything it wants through the passage of an Act of Parliament. And even then they have more teams across the country, a well developed and well funded scheme/culture that allows the sport to flourish at amateur, grassroots, youth, college level, and even built-in albeit flawed systems to ensure some form of meritocracy and checks and balances, whether between shareholders and players or between teams.

In this case the 13 richest teams literally chose to conspire and kill off an existing system of thousands of teams and doom them to literal subservience for the sole purpose of adding more money to their already extraordinarily rich pockets.

I would watch it, because players won't be jogging at intervals and have more energy and we will watch more actions with less data spent.
