Their mission is to keep Chelsea in Chelsea by denying the owner the ability to sell the pitch so they then devalue the grounds as whoever the owner sells to would have to build around the pitch. Chelsea is one of the most expensive areas in the world so owners have always wanted to move where it is cheaper to build, also knowing they can sell Chelsea land for hundreds of millions, but if they can't sell the pitch, it becomes more difficult.
