Sanwo-Olu: Lagos Has Implemented, In Compliance With Judicial Financial Autonomy by Lanrelagboi(op): 6:28am On Apr 21, 2021
I met with the representatives of the NBA branches in Lagos State today who came to dialogue with us on the ongoing strike action by judicial workers over financial autonomy for the Judiciary.

Our administration fully supports financial autonomy and it is important to state that Lagos State has implemented and is in compliance with this.

Lagos has always been at the forefront in Nigeria on matters of welfare and remuneration of judicial officers, reforms and working conditions.

Our commitment to full financial autonomy to the judiciary is strong and I assured the NBA leadership that I will work with other Governors to resolve the issues that led to the strike.

Financial autonomy. The Judiciary raises money (generates revenue) and uses the same as they deem fit. Is that it?

When will Lagos state implement judgements pertaining the Freedom of Information law!?
Many unanswered questions regarding extremely garnished contracts during Tinubu and Fashola regimes..., Uptill this day...
Several judgements demanding access to very critical infos related to these have been blatantly disobeyed by the Lagos state government! Is the Lagos state government above the Nigerian state?

The Nigerian judiciary is the most Corrupt Institution In Nigeria
The Judges and courts in Nigeria are the worst offenders when it comes to corruption, bribery and impartiality.
Criminal politicians are aware of the flaws in the court and take advantage of it
so don't think the deserve financial autonomy
