Truth is that these young strikers need the presence of an older and experienced goal getter like Ighalo, who they can learn better the ropes of the striking business.

I doubt Ighalo will come out of retirement. He doesn't have the thick skin to make him impervious to the second wave of harsh criticisms on the prowl.

A good coach would focus on the abundant resources at his disposal. Ighalo was a good servant for the SE but we now new strikers.

It's obvious that Rohr is hot the right man for the job.

Nigeria has got a terrific strike force at the moment. Any reasonable coach must make Nigeria play on the offence not defence presently. We don't have great defenders so our best bet is to outscore teams.

You are spot on. But our defence is actually solid with the right selection. Aina, Ebuehi, Nwaziem and of course Sheu Abdullahi are solid on the right full back. Aina can also ay beitifully on the left flank of the back.

Central defence, Balogun and Ajayi are solid, Troos is not consistent anymore though.
Most impottantly to cover the back 4 or 3, Etebo, Ndidi, Aribo, Sheu Abdullahi again and even Ajayi.

Our problem is the creative midfield, Nwobi is on and off. While this coach is not inviting Kelechi Nwakali is a strange to me.

Some ppl criticise Ahmed Musa out of ignorance. In big game, he is the only one that can play on the left flank and still cut in as false 9 to score. Even better when Chukwueze, Simon or Kalu are on top of their game.

But Rohr is a terrible tactician like Wenger. They can influence game with substituons or change formations when needed
