Nigeria is not a country. You guys don't seem to get it. Its only when there is a country that we start talking of citizens. I think this has to do with power changing hands politically. If you study the involvement of the brits around the world, you will see that they often put together strange bed fellows to milk money out of them. They did the same thing in the middle east for easy access to oil, and we all know how that played out. Now that oil is becoming irrelevant, they are looking for new partners. We'll see sha. I wont be surprised if nigeria is designated a terror sponsoring country soon

As simple as that. Times are truly changing, and with the recent revelations coming out from the FG, I don't think the UK wants to be seen associating with a government that supports terrorists. Also, the fear of migrants, especially those from Africa and the middle east, is a very big concern for Europe, so the UK could be showing support for restructuring/secession as a way of potentially reducing those migrants.
