Aguata And Ekwusigo Defy The Rains, Endorse The Open Door Revolution.

~ As Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah Declares Intention To Change The Existing Narrative In The State .

~ Laments 16 Years Of Trial And Error .

The Thank You and Declaration Tour train of the Distingushed Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, was Yesterday welcomed in Aguata and Ekwusigo Local Government areas by party faithful who stood resolute in the rains, in clear display of their firm belief in the status quo change message of hope that he has promised Ndi Anambra effective march next year.

The Senator Yesterday, in continuation of his thank you and declaration tours (day 3) berthed in Aguata and Ekwusigo local government areas where he was welcomed by a crowd of party faithful and lovers of the Ubah brand who trooped out in their numbers to receive him .

While in Aguata, the various speakers while expressing joy at his declaration to contest for the office of the Governor, insisted that he is their own son having done so much for Ndi Aguata within his short stay in the Senate. A feat that they never hitherto enjoyed in the past. One of the speakers,Chief Samuel Ezeugonnaya , a major stakeholder in the local government called on him to come in and change the trial and error governance that has bedevilled the state in the past 16 years .

The difference between a rented crowd and a genuine one driven by passion was on full display yesterday evening as the people of Ekwusigo local Government stood resolutely for hours while the rains made bold attempts to disperse them. Despite the fact that the convoy of the Senator was held up for hours in traffic while coming from Aguata. Ndi Ekwusigo kept waiting in the rain until he arrived. The Senator was welcomed into the arena by a crowd of excited party faithful amidst chants of "Ebubechukwuzo ! ". And "Nkwa Chukwu Kwelu ndi Anambra! "

In his speech, the youthful Senator who stood in the drizzling rains to address them, reiterated that he is in Ekwusigo to affirm his pact with the people never to let them down if given the opportunity to govern the state .

"Ekwusigo is my own and I will do everything within my power to ensure that I touch even more lives and trigger massive infrastructural development in the area " He said .

I am in politics to change the narrative of the past 16 years in the state by bringing about a positive change in the developmental indices and fortunes of the state. Anambra is a commercial state that needs an experienced idea bearer with the requisite entrepreneurial skill set to deliver an industrialised state that we shall all be proud of.

" I also make you a firm promise to give you an elected local government administration within my first 6 months in office "

The Senator concluded by formally declaring his intention to present himself for the office of the Governor.

It is very clear from the activities of the past few days since the declaration tour commenced that, Ndi Anambra are ready and waiting to make a resounding statement on the 6th of November this year in support of the open door revolution.

Indeed a new Anambra is coming with Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah .

The declaration tour enters its fourth day today as the Senator will be visiting Orumba South and Orumba North Local Governments.
