Most people don't know that their problem is not only the hausa man in the middle, it's your brother in the state government house

So even if we break into one thousand pieces and those same people rule or delegate to rule, it will be the same or worse

Ibibios oil is negligible compared to ikot abasi , oron and eket/ ibono ...
Bros we are all one in Akwa ibom. from Uyo, to Eket, Oron, Ikot ekpene.. we are one.
I'm also for Nigeria dividing.
And you saying Eket and Oron doesn't have development...isn't Udom Emmanuel Remodeling Eket/Oron?
I'm Annang, and though have not been to every part of my state but from what have heard from those Akwa Ibomites even the ibenos, Development is reaching them small small.
The reasons we are concentrating more on Uyo is because it our capital and a state capital is where people make impression about the state ( weda to invest or not)
Development go reach everyone no fear.

Do you also forget that much of the companies being built in Akwa ibom is situated in Eket, Oron etc especially Eket?...

We want to be paying our primary school teachers, police etc by ourselves...so allow us to handle our resources.
Restructure this shithole or we go divide m by force

Dont be simple, the north receives more from the federation account than the south, except you are not well enlightened about the modalities for disbursement.
Bros don't be cynical

Even from the allocation from March 2021 southern states got over 25b more than the north.

Wetin concern me and BIAFRA..I support Kanu for BIAFRA to go doesn't mean I want my state Akwa ibom to go with them..
I want a restructured Nigeria where everyone will cater for him/self.
This system we are using is making governors and leaders lazy...waiting for oil money.
but if they're made to.comtrol their resources and pay dividends to the centre...everyone will put on their thinking caps.
you won't have people that can't bring any thing to the table come forward for govtnorship..
Because how them will they pay workers, build the one or two roads they build? and also steal and pay taxes to the Fg?
so if you look at it this way, you will see why Nigeria need to be divided.

By the way I'm for Restructuring than division but if Restructuring is not feasible than let's Divide...simple

I have just started my community awareness of our rights from the 13% derivation. We will be writing to the state govt and the oil companies very soon. But if nothing is done, we will blow up pipe lines.

When I said this the other time they went for my head
This is actually the main reason most big tribe in niger Delta don't want restructuring or division because they know they produce little or no oil compared with the minority in the states

Typical example is awka ibom n rivers

Annag and ibibios are two most dominate ethnicity ....but they produce little oil ...

People who produce this oil are the ibono ,oron and eket but they get relatively nothing compared to ibibios and annag imagine

Uyo ( ibibios ) to ikot ekpene ( annag ) is smooth as hell ...uyo (ibibios ) to abak ( (anang ) is smooth

Uyo to oron( oil rich town ) not so good
Uyo to eket ( oil town ) not so good
Eket to ibono ( two oil towns one hosting mobile Nigeria ) road uncompleted for 12 years

So ibibios n anang man don't want to hear restructuring or biafra because they know they would each have their province

Same thing happens in Rivers State ...ikwerri produce little or no oil but gets most development

Oyigbo produce oil but neglected
Egbema produce oil but neglected
Ogoni produce oil but neglected
I can keep going on and on
Reason why when u mention restructuring they are against it or only play lips service
bros ur not far from the truth

My dear you are very ignorant. You said ikwerre produce little or no oil. The biggest onshore field in nigeria is Agbada. It is located between obio akpor, and ikwerre LGA. Rumuekpe in Emohua has the oil quantity that many LGAs in Niger Delta doesn't have. Speak with facts ok. Stop feeding nairalanders with bull crap.

instead of holding their govt accountable, they prefer to parade themselves on Twitter looking for which Savage comments best insults Buhari.
despite the massive allocations going to their states and them having lesser population/workforce and even small landmass.

Edo, Delta, bayelsa are not half the development of Kano and kaduna state.
watin I dey talk sef?
even maiduguri is far better than the afformentioned state despite insurgency.

tomorrow cultist head for portharcourt go touch small, then them go kill one full family, instead of holding their governor wike accountable, they still prefer to blame buhari for deploying military to portharcourt to checkmate their excesses.
Continue dey blame buhari and north make una governor's dey loot una steady.
debt profile of states above 50% According to DMO is dominated by southern states especially that Western own that claims to be the most educated.
Quota system alumajiri, nobody stops you from taking 100% of everything you produce, shebi you enjoy the solid minerals in your own region alone, why giraffing other people!?
Say no to quota system, say no to bitterness, nagode?

You deserve two statues for this statement there are very little oil wells in Ikwerre land but they are developed but K. Sere a community in Ogoni has 52 oil blocks but no school and healthcare in that community.
Ogba is the largest oil producing ethnic nationality in Nigeria now but has no dual lame roads. Everything is invested in Ikwerre land. It's just sad.
I just noticed that Nigerians detest injustice when they are the victims but embrace injustice when they are the benefactors.
52 oil blocks? Listen to yourself again. I guess you mean oil well. Oil activities in rivers state onshore was largely in obio akpor and ikwerre LGA.
There are oil wells in Rumuomasi, Elelenwo, Rumuola, Eneka. In fact elelenwo has 16 oil wells. Go and check.

I totally agree with you.same thing in crs where bakassi that usually produce oil is highly undeveloped.in delta,it is mostly the itsekiri, ijaws and isoko that produce oil which is used to develop anioma and urhobo areas.same applies in edo.in ondo, the most backward areas are the oil producing lgas of ilaje and ESE odo.
The Urhobos are the third highest oil producers in Delta State, I agree with you that the major players are being marginalized, for example, most Itsekiri and Ijaw oil producing communities in Delta state are underdeveloped, even the major oil producing communities within Urhobo land is underdeveloped, places like Uvwie produces no drop of oil, but is far developed that Orogun and Kokori that pumps thousands of barrels/day, the whole system is messed up, 13% derivation should go directly to the community. How they make us of the money shouldnt be the concern of any one. But no state governor will ever allow this.

In Edo State, the ijaw and Itsekiri communities are the only oil producing communities, but nothing on ground. In Ondo, the Ilaje area should have good roads interconnecting various creeks, but still same problem.

This is why I say that any revolution for change needs to start from the states. Youths must start asking their state governments to be accountable. What's the result of #EndSARS judicial panels by states today?

As far as I know only Eastern Obolo, Ibeno and Mbo can boast of significat oil in their domain. The rest are just living on wealth emanating from this 3 and the Atlantic ocean.
