Schools, markets.. In my hometown, those of us staying outside the country just renovated the community hospital...., The hospital was built in the 80s by the then richest son of the town! He also erected the first community borehole for peasant villagers.. No sight of government whatsoever!

Meanwhile, Elsewhere in the north, the government does everything, including monthly sharing of local governments allocations to few citizens of all the sparsely populated LGAs! I have never seen a picture or video of a "launching ceremony" for community roads, power projects or water works taken in the villages of the north or western Nigeria. PTF under Buhari renovated almost all primary and secondary schools in the North during Abacha days.
Yet we are supposed to be the same country men!

I think it's about time Igbos start vigorously and chaotically grabbing what should be theirs in Nigeria. They will come here to praise you for doing the jobs of the government but still will be the first to attack you when you demand that the government works for all... Is that not the height of mischief?
