You still don't get it, any sane rational thinking Nigerian will realize that it is better for the Nigeria army and sucurity forces of neighboring countries to fight Boko Haram as a group with their 4k members. You know who you are fighting as an army.
In this case you now have them decentralized and spread out all over the country in small groups, killing, maiming and most of all kidnapping. Their motivation now is blood and money. Asking kidnapped students to pay 800m! And ruthlessly butcher them!
How do you fight 4000 Boko Haram now spread all over in small numbers as "bandits"
