Riot Ongoing On Lagos - Badagry Expressway by Kayberg(op): 3:10pm On Apr 26, 2021*

I'm at Okokomaiko right now.
There is an ongoing intense riot between some Yorubas and Hausas from Volkswagen to Iyana Iba.

Road blocks has been mounted by the rioters.

Vehicles have been reported burnt and I've seen some vehicles destroyed by the rioters. Three people has been reported hacked to death by eye witnesses.

Shots reported fired.
Fighting was reported triggered by Motorcycle Riders' Union and some Northerners under same umbrella over levies imposed at a about 09:00 AM.

Soldiers on ground now.

If you're going to ply same way to or fro, please be advised to watch out, as motorists are already avoiding same route.

More security personnel are required to assist in quelling the situation to avoid an escalation, which may result in more loss of lives and properties.
