Pls boss. my TV switches on...the red power light shows, it talks but no light on the screen. This is a royal TV. ...It is really frustrating I don know what to do...

My LG smart tv's wifi is no longer working.

I have tried all the soft approaches of..
1. Unplugging the tv for 60 seconds for the tv to reset.
2. Unplugging the router for 60secs and above.
3. Resetting the TV to factory default

None has worked.
It seems changing the WiFi board is the solution. Any suggestion on where I can get it done and how much it will cost?

I’m sure it’s a minor problem, not screen, issue. Have a reliable technician do some diagnosis, and rectify.

Download latest firmware online via flash drive and upload to TV. Google, you’d find where.

Hello, GRACEGLORY. I'll need your advice on what to do concerning a problem that just developed with my Samsung 4K TV (UE40MU6100K).

It had no issues before. Today, while watching TV (DSTV), the screen went blank (dark screen), vertical lines appeared and they all gradually faded till the screen turned white. No pictures at all. The audio is still working though. Could it be the HDMI cable or something else?

MODIFIED: I disconnected the HDMI cable from the TV and powered the TV without any connection, it was still the same.

May be the ribbon connectors, perhaps, or some components. May not be able to tell specifically until diagnosis takes place. But I’m sure it’s can be rectified.

I have stated this in two of my previous posts, I’d state it again anyway:

Nowadays we seek cheaper products, not that it's bad to do so, I understand it's so that we could save our hard earned money, but more often than not, this intention comes with a couple of disadvantages that outweighs its benefits, hence, losing more money than we intend to save by having to buy another or re-fixing all over again and again, that's if the parts happens to be available, which are not always.

There are many issues that arises from buying cheaper items (though, cheaper doesn't connote inferior, but within this context, it could be substandard or inferior or even fake). More often than not, Cheaper products always associates with poor quality. So, you may have to reconsider your OPTIONS if you have any.

You'd agree with me as we all know that cheaper imports from China such as electronics don't either work properly or breaks down early as the materials used are not durable.

Cheap produce are always of a very bad quality and they're produced in unsustainable ways, and the downside of low-priced goods surpasses the benefits.

Amani, Rock, UkA, Royal, et’ cetera, these are products targeted at the Nigerian market, the TCL Technology is a Chinese multinational electronics company headquartered in Huizhou, Guangdong Province they produce good electronics, but the ones targeted at the Nigerian market are not of same quality with the ones shipped to the USA, and other countries, just as the likes of the Hisense, MI, and others.

I do believe you can read in between the line.
