prior to that moment, no lagging issues, no abnormal issues. The only app not from play store installed on the phone was Proshot app from lexusg430 (wasn't really using it cos of ease of usability). It was charged at voltage surge protector point.

yours could be a faulty unit from the factory if truly you are saying the truth. apart from this your case and few others, most people are at fault when their phones get damaged

i actually contacted d store..cos its 3 items that i got refunded and delivered after the due date elapsed...2 of d package has been exhausted in d store...
was given a link to make a payment for nothing and i paid but AE intervened that why am i paying for nothing...if only d store owner tried to ship the [nothing] out immediately i paid, i would have clicked clicked on package delivered.. but 3days later AE intervened nd i ve cancelled the payment waiting for refund..

It doesnt have any software issue. The phone is fast, Whatsapp doesn't lag.

Although it has a hardware problem, sometimes the screen stops responding to touch untill u lock and unlock, can be frustrating when you're typing a message or playing a game and shit suddenly stops.

You guys need to understand that the people who vouch for Umidigi phones here are not paid to be brand ambassadors, the reason they vouch for the brand is because they have used it and it has served them well.
One problem I have with critics is actually the way they criticize, some will come and say "Umidigi is a very bad phone, don't buy", why would anyone make such conclusion because they had one bad experience with their own phone.
Remember, phone is a gadget and manmade, it is bound to break down, even human beings that are God-made break down and die prematurely, sometimes even without medical explanation.

Go to their official website and air your complaints abeg, cos I don't think umidigi is here on nairaland. 90% of them bashing umidigi are probably xiaomi fan boys.

Don't forget that this isn't official Umidigi forum and had it been they have a physical presence, maybe we'd say one or two of their reps would be here checking the feedbacks.

Having said that, I've once had an issue with A7 Pro of my boss. Just plugged to charge at about 23%, and that was all; didn't power again until.the power IC was changed. This doesn't mean all the units are bad cuz I bought same model for my bro and he's been enjoying it since.

If it's about criticising, this isn't the best place but if it's about getting solution to your issues, you're likely in the right place.

My 1st ever Android device na Xiaomi device and I've been using Xiaomi phones since 2016 but that doesn't deterred me from recommending Umidigi to peeps around me. Na choice; either due to financial constraints or preference based on other consideration(s).

I hate no brand, If the brand messed up I switch to another. I can still use infinix and tecno device if they up there games by reducing the price of those plastic they are selling now

It is popular with those who used A5 pro more than a year. I used it and it's in my drawer at home right now. I'll change the screen in future when I have spare money.

The products after A5 pro are good. I got a friend with A7 pro another with A7s no issues till now.
