The moment Benzema nodded the ball upwards and the ball would definitely fall in front of him, Christensen's reaction was supposed to move upfront away from his back, as he should have sensed the danger. If you watch Silva well, most of the balls he intercepts by nodding away or kicking, were due to his good ability to react swiftly when danger looms.

I will find time to show you a similar situation that was thwarted by City's Diaz later today.

For me, failing to deal with the second ball is where the fault is. And Azpi could have done better.

When I saw Azpi starting in WB again, I was like but seeing Marcelo as his opponent, I became more hopeful.

He was bullied all night long. Even that West ham guy, Fredrick, dusted him all game. But Azpi is still class 1 v 1.

The tussle always happens before the ball arrives. A defender should be shoulder to shoulder gaining leverage on the attacker before the actual instant of the ball dropping

I admire Tuchel’s honesty. He doesn’t suck his players balls and say nonsense like they are not ready to compete.

You just said it as it is......I wonder why some people cannot just drop their pride and start listening to you when you talk football.

If we do manage to get past Madrid, only two games matter anymore this season.

I don't care if we field our U23 team in the games vs City and arsenal, but if we get to the final we have to win it. We can come 10th in the league and I'll still be dancing in the streets.
