Please Guys, I need ur opinion on this. My Redmi note 9s is having a GHOST TOUCH ie The phone clicks on its own. It does it once in a while. It does not happen frequently for now. I just bought the phone on march 2021.

I want to know if this GHOST TOUCH mostly occur on Redmi note 9s. I av seen a post abt this in this Naira land b4.

Is there any way to solve dis or what should I do pls.
I really like the phone.

My version is Redmi note 9s 6gb ram 128 internal storage.

Or should I start to prepare my mind to buy another phone?
Guys help me pls.

Ghost touch is a very common reported problem on Xiaomi devices. I will advice you port to Samsung or if you have the cash, you can step up to iPhone.

But I av used Redmi note 7 and I didnt experience any ghost touch on dat phone until I sold it, which I used to buy the Redmi Note 9s.

But Boss, can u suggest any Samsung phone dat is cool and fast, which can play COD and any graphic games

No don't change it yet. Just remove it and use like that for a while and see if the ghost touch happens.

Oh then it's not the screenguard. I heard people complaining about the samething online. Some of them were solved by removal of screen guard while some weren't.

Been using my 9S since December 24th and I've never experienced anything like that or any fault

There is a place to reduce screen sensitivity on your phone..

If you remove the screen guard and it doesn't work, launch your settings and find it..

When you are done setting it, force restart your phone by holding down the power button until you hear it vibrate.

Check your screen for crack

Go to settings/additional settings (Depending on Android version)
Tap on Language and input
Locate pointer speed...50% would be the default setting... Tap OK
Reduce or increase it to test how sensitive you want the screen to be..



If it doesn't work, download full ROM and reinstall

Another thing I did was go to
Additional settings^accessibility settings^physical^ set touch and hold delay to long. It helped a bit

Xiaomi have fixed it just upgrade it miui ,to the latest version and it should be fixed
