I am considering letal and non letal means of self defense to protect my family from hoodlums and criminals that are currently carrying out home invasions and robberies in my area,I am considering so many options for home defence but most importantly,I want to buy tear gas so that any criminal that break into my house would run out with choked breath and crying eyes.

Better deploy an alarm system that’ll make good noise in your house that will not let up. This should scare away intruders.

Bro no alarm can stop a rampaging armed robber because police go tell you say bullet nor dey gun,if it's about gas masks yes I would buy it and enlighten them when to use it during emergencies.

Look for a legal means to get a gun....some of those robbers might be here on Nairaland and have seen this ,so they may try to improvise by wearing nose and face mask when invading
Like I said earlier,get a gun( Pistle) legally or go traditional

if an ordinary street guys knows what to do when a person deployed a teargas , those arm robbers will surely know what to do when you deployed it , simple advise -

relocate from that environment if you don't feel secured again in your current environment , for the seek of your family
