When will you people focus on happenings in your own state or is Anambra the only active thread on this forum? Is obiano the only SE governor? Strange obsession.

Actually, the greatest painful shock among haters of Anambra in particular and Igboland, in general, is the God's speed this project was achieved. They hoped that in the usual Nigerian way of slowing a project down in order to call for contract re-appraisal and review to steal money, the project would not be completed.

They were wrong! Obiano was interested in writing his name in platinum in the history of Anambra state than stealing a few millions that will finish before the 3rd year after he left office.

I am so glad that Obiano mobilized his men and his resources to not just do a very high-quality project, but complete it in record time! Even if it meant no avenue for kickbacks through contract reviews. That is Witches story now is that Obiano squandered some $2 billion DOLLARS given to him by some GHOST. Since Anambra Budget for even the last 10 years will not total to $2 billion dollars.

That evil night owl that visits this forum every midnight is still in absolute shock since Friday the 30th of April, and has still been unable to fly at night for witches meetings since then. grin

After more than one week of total paralysis and knock out from Father Mbaka's prayers, followed by the spectacular landing of three jets on the Anambra International airport, the night owl has finally recovered from unconsciousness to return here with his usual bitter venom against the glorious achievements of Obiano and Anambra state.

Well, let's oblige him because he helps the thread to grow more quickly. Even though I rarely read his deceitful and inconsistent posts filled with venom against Anambra people in particular and Igbos in general.

Impressive stuff!

Anambra can achieve great things if they set their mind to it....and have the necessary visionary leadership to drive the process! The state should measure its developmental strides and progress against those of international players like Dubai, Singapore and Kigali!

The main auditorium is so massive and will be equipped with the latest in high-tech. Hope it's well sound-proofed as well!

The Chinese contractor is even starting to sound Nigerian!

The next governor of Anambra state should brace up o..there are a lot of challenges ahead. To those aspirants thinking the role of Anambra State Governor seat is gonna be a walk in d park should better change their mindset and begin to think of more developmental strides for the state...such a person will have to continue from where Willy stopped.

Our problem currently is our state capital. The state capital needs a face lift honestly..and that will have to begin from the ROADS. The roads in d state capital needs to be looked into seriously..driving from Ekeawka this evening was such a difficult and tiring drive...the hold up around there eehhn..especially if u are driving from that court road axis down to Ekeawka na war...those market hawkers have taken over half of the roads displaying their wares around..the visible traffic light stand is not even adhered to by motorists. The traffic wardens all were even looking helpless today...

KEKE RIDERS too are a major menance on that tiny road causing heavy gridlock..I spent close 2 40mins on that road because of the keke riders. Those riders too are so so impatient, everyone seems to be rushing, buses hanging around the gridlock picking up passengers and worsening the situation. Which way Anambra?

The next governor would also have to limit the keke riders from plying major roads in d capital as seen in most cities. Keke should be hanging around juctions leading to inner/residential streets not on major roads and causing gridlock. The number of keke-s in our state capital seems to even be more than the inhabitants of the capital. They are so many.
Other adjoining roads needs to be fixed...those going to inner towns/villages not too close to Awka should be able to use alternative routes provided. You see commercial and privates vehicles hustling to drive past streets with tiny roads especially now that some major roads are blocked because of the security situation. Which way Anambra?

Lastly, Ekeawka market needs to be replanned. So much chaos and gridlock causing axis.

We need better roads! Roads should be upgraded..alternative routes repaired and maintained..more pple are relocating back home and the infrastructures seems not to be enough 4 d teeming populace.

The next governor should prepare because there's so much work ahead.

Good points.

Obi and Obiano failed to do the needful which was remove Eke Awka entirely from its present badly sited location. Eke Awka should be relocated to one of the inner lands of agu Awka far from zik avenue and walled round with entry and exit gates. The old eke awka should be replaced with a town hall or a school.

There are far too many keke in awka and they are a menace. The government banned okada but failed to control keke. Awka has over 10,000 keke which is ridiculous for such a small city. Next governor needs to get 14 seater buses and run routes around the town and restrict keke to a manageable number plying inner roads. Keke riders should be registered with the authorities with fixed address since many have criminal tendencies.

The next governor needs to build a lot of access roads within awka so that traffic is not concentrated on zik avenue and move asudeb, awka South lg and the customary and magistrate courts to the government layout around ekwueme sq area.

The only roads that can be dualised is the Oby Okoli road from temp site to Isu Aniocha, nise to agulu Rd and ring road to Nibo. Another that could be created is Regina caeli with a bridge across to old inec road and extending the road to ekwueme Square all the way to ifite on one side and to isu on the other.

The rest na management.
