Mpharma bought Halton - a pharmacy dispensing chain- that had 20 stores. It controls nothing in Kenya advanced pharmaceutical center. Kenya has open-door policy for companies to come in - and go out. That is why this year I expect we shall overtake Morocco to become 3rd most business-friendly country...

mpharma, A start-up company in Ghana is controlling Kenya second largest pharmacy in Kenya.

The entire Accra city is mostly a slum without any zoning or planning - maybe we can excuse cantoment, east legon and airporth hills - lower middle class areas - otherwise everywhere else is a SLUM.
vaxx:
Though the onus is on you to provide the 265 slums. however kibera remain the largest Africa slums . millions of black kenya lives there .

I think Abuja is more developed than Accra. Let's wait for a honest opinion from someone who has been from both city.
If Abuja is indeed developed than Accra. Then I rest my case grin

When we go vertical - your run to horizontal
Look at how Nairobi is nibbling your city shackman

See how you dead city has 1 or zero building under development - with Nairobi 25-30 any given year.

Add 5 yrs - 5 times 30 =150 new buildings in Nairobi in 5yrs - overtaking joburg (that look likely to add only 5 new buildings - 1 every year)
Johannesburg is all built up all the other surrounding cities are not included

Head to youtube - and you can clearly see that
1) Abuja - the well-planned part is good - decent CBD albeit with more empty houses than occupied - with few organized estates for civil servants - but the majority live in slums like Mpape- and the city is almost empty. There is almost no middle class. No industrial area. Just big mosque and the rocks.
2) Accra - has a tiny central business district - a few middle class planned estates - and the rest I would call mostly lower lower middle class - just few inches from Kibra.

So all in all - Accra beats Abuja. Abuja is a dead lego city. Accra is a sprawling disorganized slumpolis.

Kibera with 170,000 people is much smaller compared to these.

Yes accra is like most Nigerian cities except for Abuja - more like Nairobi metro but more populated - it a huge mess-free for all integrated hodgepodge do whatever you want. Abuja is planned from the ground up but like most such cities of such scale - it has no middle class - no soul - and is a monumental failure. It's okay to plan a small area like Eko Altantic or Tatu city - but imagine trying to come up with city the size of Nairobi from ground zero.

I also did not include Nairobi Metro. Nairobi city was long built up...except if we take animals out. Nairobi City is undergoing regeneration. Hardly do you find a greenfield development. Nearly all the buildings in Nairobi city - something has to be demolished first.

There is a lot more greenfield or virgin action in Nairobi Metro - that is more suburbs like

In which world did you here of every variable being the best? Every street in London is the best street in London is the most weird sentence I've seen here. So Abby street is just about the same calibre as that small residential alley street.

And what did I post that doesn't exist? Everything I've posted is in existence. Google is your friend.

So it isn't true that Oxford street has an unrivalled shopping experience of all streets in London with over 300 outlets. Ok, I see.

Noise started emanating from those who felt greyed by the GSV of Muindi Mbingu street vs those of Broad street and were so quick to claim broad street isn't among the best streets in Lagos. When asked which streets are then first diversion was that Lagos is too large, then there's nothing like best streets, then I said best street not streets etc. Now that's noise that aims to divert from the obvious.

Abuja situation is kind of intentional inflicted, in the sense that it seem top politicians don't want poor people in the city, so they intentional buy lands build estates and Jack up the price. A lot of poor pole have lost their lands (particularly the indigenous tribe there) and then most are forced to move to places like mpape.

Now to mpape is not really a slum more like an informal settlement but the FCTA wants to demolish it and then named it a slum under the guise.

Abuja has no plan of being an industrial region but more of a service based city.
Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp20182: 11:37am On May 09, 2021
Abuja has to try to take some action off Lagos - and have some people moving there instead of Lagos - and it can only do that by becoming a real city - NOT A LEGO CITY for civil servants and maybe embassies. When it comes to the service sector...what exactly would that be? Maybe Finance and such? Coz I don't see it having any tourist natural resources like ocean or lake that would draw folks in such numbers? A rock and abandoned quarry are all it got now.

Right now it's a glorified civil servant city - without any middle class! It's Maitima and Mpape kind of contrast without middle class in between.

Abuja looks like a modern city when compared to Accra.

Abuja has alot that Accra don't.

Accra to me can't stand Abuja.

What makes such nonsense facts..or you think banding together to console your sorry arse will degrade Nairobi... the world 6 most dynamic city, the 11st most ecological friendly city in the world and the most innovative city in Africa.Again slums occupy only 2 percent of Nairobi landmass, are not growing and are infact being reduced through demolition. Those are facts.Nairobi slums are well known.Nairobi is growing on steroids.. number of planned high-rise already overtook joburg. The road infrastructure is getting there with more than 1.5b dollars under construction. The Nairobi commuter rail is being extended.Nairobi adding 200 million litres of water this year.Nairobi extending it's sewage network to cover 75 of residents.Nairobi fixing walkway with more than 500km of pedestrian and cycling paths.Nairobi is putting up thousand units of affordable housing.
Pure emotional noise. Nairobi is 90% this is just a pure fact. We’ve thru this over and over again

Compare yourself with say Malaysia or Thailand or Indonesia... countries you're supposed to be in same level.and you'll understand why you can only impress poor west Africans.Youre building more slums than such shopping centers. The economy is sick.
U are an idiot.I thought u said their construction sector is dead. Compared to Kenya,Kenya is a long walk in a park. This level of low standard trash is not a boom worthy enough to knock hillbrow. SA building is very high tech and 21st century with amazing designs and shapes.

Sammy the render man,
1) How many times have you screamed edited when you saw Kenya pics? Count them - and remember each time you did that - Kenya had exceeded your slumpolis by huge margins.

2) How many times have you referred to parts of Nairobi as being stolen pictures. One time you called Nyari - canada smiley

3) How many times have your pulled the race card - when you saw parts of Nairobi
