The Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has expressed his joy over the meeting between the Southern Governors in Ahaba (Asaba).

The governors, under the aegis of the Southern Nigeria Governors Forum (SNGF), said they condemned open grazing of animals and movement of cattle from the northern part of the country to the south.

The governors also called for a national conference to determine national questions bothering on the nature of Nigeria’s federalism and federal character in national appointments, among other issues.

Southern Governors banned open grazing in 17 Southern States of the Federation.

They noted development and population growth had put pressure on available land and increased the prospects of conflict between migrating herders and local populations in the South.

They also challenged the Federal Government to urgently restructure the nation to address the rising agitations and insecurity across the Federation.

Nnamdi Kanu on a broadcast thanked the Uzuko Umunna for their ability to unite the southern Nigeria and also thanked the Family of Indigenous People of Biafra and the Oduduwa People for their consistency that have made the meeting come true.

Nnamdi Kanu queried why the Governors will have to take permission from the central Government for them to go into Livestock management in their own states.

Kanu said their meeting is a step towards the Referendum the IPOB have been clamoring for.

If Kanu had started his agitation on this note by carrying everybody along he would have moved further than where he is now and he wouldn't have attracted many enemies to himself and his dream (same thing we are telling this illiterate Igboho now and he doesn't want to listen).

But better late than never, Kanu has now retraced his steps and realized there is no way he can succeed in this agitation by being a lone ranger, you need other regions' support (I'm not talking of the backward region that is hell bent on dragging everybody down to their level o)

He did but they refused to corporate because of what they are getting.

You seem not to get it. Kanu abuses Ohaneze Ndigbo who are the highest voice of Igbo nation and you say he doesn't abuse Igbo. His main grouse was that the Southern leaders were not wise, often playing second fiddle to the north. Hope you know he is friends with Fani Kayode, Ayo Fayose etc. So he respects other tribes. He only wants everyone to open their eyes.
