Except you now want to tell me for the sake of this argument; that Pique, Busquets, Griezman, Lenglet, Panic, Braithwaite and co that we've been bashing all season long and asking them to leave have suddenly turned elite footballers again
Even a lot of us did not consider Messi an elite footballer 5 matches into this season, have you forgotten so soon?

For our failures i might ascribe 40 percent maximum to Koeman and the remaining 60 percent must go to the players who have let us down severally with missed sitters, defensive blunders and poor performance levels.

Blaming Koeman is akin to taking the easy way out.

For the records Barca is so big a club to deserve the best of coaches with proven track records but our failures go way way way beyond Koeman.

The team is not dysfunctional. If you're not good, you're not good. Was it the team that caused him to be pulled apart by the Levante player yesterday night or cause him to lose possession every single time he attempted to dribble past any player?

At 20, he shouldn't be regarded as anyone's understudy. Trent-Arnold of Liverpool was already a world beater at that age. Dest had enough game time to show his capabilities but he always came up short.

My only consolation is that he's still young. These inconsistencies are normal for young people. Under a much better coach, I'm sure he'll show us why Barcelona and Bayern dragged for his signature.

This failure of a coach couldn't even see through to realize that we needed a midfielder to support Busquets to deliver long balls and at least, roughen the opposition players. The idiot went on to bring in Roberto. I was literally cursing the fool for bringing on Riqui at all. Cos he just heaped coals of fire on the young lad.


Still, I maintain, Pedri wasn't the problem at all. The young lad is a strong prospect that can stand the test of time with proper nurturing.

I'm actually very happy for Matue Lahoz. Frequent participation of Spanish teams in the UCL finals have impeded Spanish Refs from taking charge of the biggest game of the season. I hope he does a good job and hopefully also get the nod in the upcoming Euro final too.
