God bless you for this well detailed article, more ink to your pen..

Quickly, I will like to ask a question.. Do they also consider class of degree at the physical screening and certificate verification stage..

For example, someone who graduated with second class upper/lower compared to a third class graduate...

Is there hope for the third class graduate who eventually made it to the final stage of physical screening. Any likely chances he or she will get the job...

All those classes of degree English na for paper in Paramilitary Jobs. Shebi, you sha go skul with evidence that you graduated? Baba, if you have your way you go enter.

Only that it may want to stand against you in some future appointments within the Service especially at the Top Management Level. However, a few other criteria are used for Top Management Level Appointment and you may even sabi way pass your counterparts/contestants at that level.

Pipe down with the hasty generalisation bro. A good number of the ASI category was shortlisted including me without any connection. Indeed and in truth, the board has lived up to its assurance of '"fairness" and "transparency" in the recruitment. No be everything be man-know-man. Kudus to the board!

Am a living witness to this statement.
A good of candidates on this thread got shortlisted. Which is a clear sign of Fairness to a good extent.

All the NIS WhatsApp/Facebook group I belong has at least some of group shortlisted.

Bless you for this input. Thank you for joining me to make it known that for this NIS recruitment so far and perhaps other recruitments currently ongoing or likely to occur in the future, that ordinary people still get government jobs on merit in Nigeria, without knowing anybody.

Honestly I understand every bit of your writings, maybe they have their reasons for doing it this way(not releasing the results to public) one thing I can tell you though with 100% honesty is that, I was shortlisted without knowing anyone beyond the walls of my room, and I’m sure there are others like me out there.

Some of us might just be lucky. But above all is God whom I’ve duly consulted and still consulting.
I agree with you on the one, of all the federal government jobs I've applied for over the years with the so called connections and drop something for Oga, this is the only one I applied without anyone even knowing but guess what my name was shortlisted so I think this had to do mostly with merit and God's timing on one's life

Actually, I did mine immediately after the CBT test last year. So from your response, I'd say I'm good to go, yeah?

How many days will the exercise last, please? I want to find a way to take an excuse from work

I thought there is no more ASI II. Only ASI now.

I think all the paramilitaries under MoI earn thesame thing which is 121k gross. But people that are sure can clarify.

Please, what's the starting level and salary for AII(Assistant Inspector of Immigration)? I applied with my OND(national diploma). How can I upgrade to BSc? If that's possible
