The local Chickens in my House are giving birth like crazy,there is about 10 eggs presently wasted,I skipped 14 newly hatched,I'm always stealing all their eggs,there are still about 30 incubating,just that the eggs are small ni,they're delicious

I have always wondered the magic poultry farmers perform to still sell eggs at N50. I was discussing this with someone just a couple of weeks ago.
I divided in to poultry business 2011 when a bag of feed was 1200. Today it sells for 7k. How can the price of egg remain constant?

I don't know. Last I asked, the woman say naa 900 so I just lock up go follow my hen talk make e no dey use cocks do yanga dey run up and down for street. But the hen no wan hear and me I need eggs, so I just catch the hen put for one corner, separate the two legs widely with ropes.. now boys dey run the hen anyhow, and me dey collect eggs too steady..

Hen does not need male to produce eggs just as females don't need male to release eggs. Males are only needed to fertilize the eggs.

In my area small ones are sold for 1300,as for the big ones,they are sold for 1400 and 1500 respectively depending on the size.

At my place in Niger State is #1,200

Here in Accra, Ghana it's 25 cedis for small ones and 28 cedis for big ones. That's #1,650 for small ones and #1,850 for big ones. Una still dey enjoy for 9ja
