Let's say I chose handicap +7 for player 1
set 1-
the player lost 1-6
Set 2-
the player lost 2-6

Technically I won the handicap for individual set
Set1 (+7)(1)-6 =8-6
Set2 (+7)(2)-6 =9-6

Is this how it works?

Or is it for total games whereby
I add 1+2 =3
Then add the handicap (+7)+3 = 10
Which is loss because the favorite scored total of 12

Its seriously obvious that its game handicap. What you said is true. There is no tennis tournament with 6 sets how would that be possible only 3 sets best of 2 and 5 sets best of 3... If there is handicap 6 sets how many sets would the one being handicapped have to win would it be 13 sets best of 7? When even 3 best of 2 are taking 2 and half hours + to end. 13 set game they would play on the court till one player dies of stress or heart attack.
