Formerly known as Federal University Technology Yola but was changed to Modibo Adama University Yola. The name was changed in respect of the first Lamido of Adamawa state during President Goodluck Jonathan regime.
Now the university has been converted to a Conventional University maybe the name will still be changed.

Was changed to Modibbo Adama University of Technology Yola. Due to its recent conventional status, it would be known as Modibbo Adama University Yola.
