who told you that,the Acura RL is just the Honda legend,uses many parts with the Accord also,I used an RL for 4 years before pushing it out for a 2007 Honda Accord 3.0 v6 with leather and navigation, quite an interesting ride.honda is a car you will never hear that a car thieves can break into an drive off,I have used a 2002 babyboy,2005 Acura RL and now a 2007 Honda Accord,they have advanced coded ignation keys that once parked nothing can be used to drive the vehicle off except towing van.there are spare keys that will open the ignation and will be cranking the engine but it will not start,Toyotas of same years don't have that system.

Plenty factors to consider beyond engine power:
Car weight, RPM for max torque, Drag coefficient, Stability control, LSD, RWD, AWD or FWD, etc

As much as i enjoy my es330 which has been a performer with a touch of luxury, i am tempted to try the Honda brand.
I hope it's going to be a good choise.
