Hypothetically, a South Nigeria Republic made up of the 17 federal states that make up current southern Nigeria becomes a reality. It will need a constitution and government structure.

In the current constitution, Nigerian citizens of non-northern extraction have very little written in it that is intended to work for them.

Let us brainstorm together. The idea is to write a new comprehensive constitution. A document that is superior, is fair, and just to all citizens.

We want to write a constitution that discourages and combats corruption, sectionalism, nepotism, electoral fraud, wastage, and inefficiency in governance, etc. Basically, a constitution that corrects the many failings of Nigeria's flawed 1999 constitution.

In bullet points:

1. What type of Government do you propose for the new country?
2. Should there be a unicameral or bi-cameral parliament?
3 How many parliamentarians should represent each state or region in central Parliament?.
4.How many parliamentarians should represent each Local government or province in state or provincial Parliament?.
5. What are the key provisions you will like to see in that constitution?
6. What are your thoughts about the separation of powers?
7. Considering that we still have Niger delta Oil, What sharing formula do you propose as fair, or should every state, or region keep its receipts and make a set contribution to the center?.
8. What else, including, or none of the above do you propose?.
