They will drag this convention to coincide with the presidential primaries in November 2022 so as to elect a northern presidential candidate. By then it will be too late for any serious contender to defect.

The Court can force them to have the convention before then or they may risk having their Candidates for Political Office disqualified if the Convention leads to disputed Party Officials
