Elrufai is enemy of the bar after he tried to cause a division in the Nigerian Bar Association into Southern and Northern Bar Association.

Elrufai is enemy of the entire southern Nigeria because of his open display of wanting the Fulani to dominate every other ethnic nationalities in Nigeria.
