Benue is owing and will pay. There is still hope for Benue state workers because they were not sacked.

Many other states are owing too but none sacked workers

If your parent were among those to be retired compulsorily because the government mismanaged the economy how will you feel.
What means does Hell Rufai want the retrenched staff to fend for themselves?
How many jobs has he facilitated so that the retrenched staff can find another place to work other than as government employee?

If the excuse was retrenching unqualified staff, that would be understandable: but is it?
Did Hell Rufai employ thousands of workers since he began his tenure?
Didn't he note that the government work force was over bloated before doing this?

Lets not be selfish. If retrenchment doesn't affect us, it will affect others!
