HonNL:
Power has been restored to Kaduna State on Wednesday after three days of blackout occasioned by the warning strike of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in the state.

Prior to the five-day warning strike directed by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) to commence from midnight of Sunday in Kaduna, the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) had knocked off all the 33KV lines in Kaduna State in compliance with the directive.

The total blackout occurred from midnight on Saturday following an earlier warning by the National Union of Electricity Employees that it had been directed by the NLC to join the warning strike.

Hours after the Nigerian Labour Congress suspended its 5-day warning strike over the mass sack of workers in Kaduna, Governor Nasir El-Rufai stated that there will be no negotiations until electricity was restored.

they called you short devil or midget. But i just love him more than buhari because he is the man of his word... Sai Mallam. deal with them. SORRY if i offended you but if people like el rufai are everyone in my north will get back to is senses when it come to civil service rules

Hell rufai must go

Yes, but the problem of an overbloated civil service will remain.

One governor back in 2003 was voted out for doing what El Rufai wants to do...he actually sacked excess workers. His succesor reinstated the sacked wrokers. Several years later...problems arose in paying the salaries.(meanwhile more workers had most likely been employed).

Since Nigerians are not ready to pay the tax-to gdp ratio needed to raise the funds to pay civil servants their salaries, it is either El Rufai or his succesor sacks excess...or takes more loans to pay em.

Ayuba Waba sold out this struggle

No,it was a Warning Strike, just to warn about the imminent Strike,if the Govt in power or authority concerned like Private Sector Employers not showing commitment.
Kudos to NLC.

lol, may be. The thing is you have to even have a good powerbank that is large, maybe something like the 10,000mah or 20,000 mah power bank that can carry for like 2-3 days, if it's a small power bank your phone will still off within 1 day of power outage.
