Such statement always comes up when it is time to shift power from the North. What is it about the illiterate North that the educated South are afraid of?
It should make for a good case study in Human Psychology research. Someone with Ph.D level education in the South will gladly and gleefully be subservient to a half-baked mallam from the North.

Only a political nitwit won’t know that it is coming down South, either South West, or South East, CPC APC has ruled for 8 years, now it is the turn of ACN APC to do their own 8 years, most likely South West VP Osinbajo or PDP turned APC Governor Umuahi. Osinbajo deserves the ticket based on the agreement of 2013, Umuahi deserves it for the sake of equity & justice.

But in all honesty, the North is at it's most vulnerable stage right now. With the middle belt trying to break away, the security agencies struggling to contend with Boko Haram, ISWAP and fuulani Herdsmen, their traditional allies in the south west unnerved by Buharis subtle refusal to look towards Tinubu or Osibande, they are just ripe to be pulverized by a well coordinated force... Just that we too like life down south.
