Exactly. Imagine an APC governor (Akeredolu) telling the AGF (mouth piece of the president), that he can go and die but ban on open grazing stays. The southern governors are all clamouring for restructuring; something the northern governors no wan carry ear hear. It's a critical time. I despise APC a lot, but I would wish they bring forth Osinbajo for president. He will easy win all southern states and hopefully the not so core northern states. Victory for the south

I have explained in details why this Man would not be President in present day naija. Osinbajo has a much higher chance of winning presidency than Tinubu. The north will never side him, not with these restructuring that the south are shouting and with the ban on open grazing. The south east too no go vote am. After all, na still Malo man. He will win only the south western states and let's be frank, that's not enough. He should forget presidency and push Osinbajo in. Igbos would prefer Osinbajo and even though the north would still vote their brother in PDP, with the south east, south south and south west on the side of Osinbajo, it is a flawless victory for the south

This might lead to the disintegration and eventual collapse of APC as the Northern domination of the party will ensure their candidate gets the ticket.

This will split the party and reduce their power to win elections along ethnic lines.

The types of Bagudu know this, that is why they are trying divide and rule propping feather weight like Fayemi as a candidate. Someone that a common Yahaya Bello will defeat in d primary.

If Tinubu for any reason is not contesting, very unlikely, any SW candidate he backs will still win massively. The general election is another thing. Since our SE people won't mind to be a vice to a Fulani.

The problem in that however is, SS votes are not guaranteed for a Fulani/Igbo ticket anymore. So PDP may try Fulani/SS ticket. This too will demoralise the Igbos more resulting in poor turnout.

So in all scenario, APC candidate will win

We are talking present day politics. Never before have naija been divided over religious and ethnic lines. You think the north are not paying attention to the body language of the south. Ban on open grazing has opened their eyes to what the south wants. Southern governors, even those from APC, are eagerly supporting restructuring. The north no wan carry ear hear such. So, forget 2003 elections and focus on 2011 elections. GEJ didn't win in the Kardashian states, and that should tell you something: THE CORE NORTH NO SEND PARTY O, NA THEIR BROTHER DEM KNOW

I am very sure they will field El-Rufai and give him their full backing. Tinubu has been reduced to a mere beggar after what happened in Edo State.

The Fulani are so hated that I don't think they will win a fair primary in PDP, the South West is also turning against the Fulani led APC and is split right now.

If Tinubu pulls out of the party while influencing Lagos and Ondo State to do the same APC is effectively finished in the South West.

The problem with the present Fulani led APC is they are so greedy and arrogant and have turned the other ethnic groups into their errand boys. Losing support in the South West will lose them the election.
