It looks like the areas where police stations and government properties are being attacked, the crime rate seems to be going down especially things like kidnapping robberies. In fact some of the areas people can now work on the road up till 9 p.m. at night without fear of being attacked and robbed. I am just wondering what is going on, no police station no crime rate..

I was just listening to a taxi driver at a nightclub on YouTube he said since the police station was bent he saves 400 Naira a day on bribes. He does not need to bribe the police 400 Naira to pass through checkpoints and that is why he is celebrating at the nightclub

Maybe he does not drive in the Eastern part of the country. An average driver in the East spends between #1500 to #2000 on those rogues on black daily.

In 2007 at the state cid owerri,a kidnapper was caught by okadamen, handed over to police,when the kidnapper's oga arrived the state Cid office,you need to see how police officers were standing up and greeting the oga(the man whom the kidnapper works for)
He was even not smiling with the officers,he was very annoyed that they arrested his boy,they brought out his gun and handed it over to his oga,gave him his clothes,shoes and that was the end of the case,we had land dispute with my uncle and that was how we came across such nonsense.
They are the ones giving guns to criminals

The security situation in the entire is East worrisome now. Robberies, Kidnapping, Pickpocketing and Rituals is have now taking over all Streets and neighbourhoods in the East. I spent the Last 2 days in the East. The ones peaceful Awka is now the den of Criminals and Criminality. Na run I run comot from that Region, before I'll become a victim.

Here in East every town have Vigilantes and criminals fears them more than they fear police.

If criminals are handed over to police,within five days they will be out,but if Vigilantes catch you,they don't need your money,and the possibility of you stealing again will be in next six month or one year,because the Vigilantes will deal with you that if you survive,you will thank your God.


If Civilians catch you as thief,na straight to hell.

Initially there was a cases of armed robbery, pickpockets etc,but we have form vigilant groups in various places and if you are caught robbing someone or anything,you are a dead meat, nothing in this world will save you,you must be burnt alive,and to be sincere with you,my area now is very safe more than before.

Where do you think ESN was formed. Just like Federal govt knows where bandits are.. MNK knows where this robbers and tough guys resides.. He changes there mindset, give them hope for a better tomorrow, get them paid monthly to protect lives and the lands rather than criminality.

Correlation does not necessarily means causation. Fulani military personnels are known to operate with the mindset of Islamist. They see Christians as unclean and infidels hence, the extra-judicial activities of the Fulani military men.

I whole heartily support that military of Northern extraction should not be in the SE.

You people should stop spitting saliva all over the place and crying more than the bereaved. Criminals in the East here fears the Vigilantes more than the Police. In fact, the Police aids them. The second most dangerous city in the East which is Onitsha has been very calm unlike before when you see thugs and criminals everywhere. They know there is no Police to save them again. Once you are arrested now, na sure death awaits you.
