Antonio Miguel Mateu Lahoz, the Spanish Football Referee who was in charge of the Uefa Champions League Final between Manchester City and Chelsea, rarely made a mistake last night, barely blew the wrong whistle, he didn't even have to use the VAR to dismiss the foul play claim by Manchester City players against Reece James, I knew it wasn't a foul the moment he made a gesture that it was not because he barely gets these things wrong, he understands the rules of the game almost perfectly, he's a reminiscence to the former Italian Referee, Pierluigi Collina, always looking for the truth in the game, most coaches respect them because of their just officiating, I wish the English referees could emulate and learn from them.
