Many people don't understand the basis for this people's grievances, the truth is, if you have preferred candidates already, you have no reasons asking others to pay for forms and contest. Either way, your preferred candidate wins. This makes it difficult to hold many of this LGA chairmen accountable in Lagos. They know that all they need to do is to be loyal to a few party stakeholder and nothing more. An example is the LGA chairman of Ikorodu who knows he is going to loose the primaries due to his bad governance but went ahead to please the gods and yes it worked! Even though he lost in all polling units.

How can a party charge aspirants N2 Million for ordinary form. Just for declaring interest. Forms that can be put on their website, and filled online for free.

Exactly. Seems like day time robbery to get money from everyone, including the physically handicapped as they mentioned, and suddenly impose a handpicked person over every other person they have scammed.

They said they wanted to get as many people as possible, hence the discounts. So they invariably wanted the money from as many people as possible but they already knew they were scamming them because they already had their preferred candidates prior to taking monies from random people, including handicapped. Thats criminal.
