The car battery is dead. I am just wondering if I can use a generator to start the car. The DC outlet of the generator is 12volts.

Who have tried it before?

Not a good idea as the generator in question doesn't have a stable current. I believe generator normal 2500 generates 220v not 12v but you can charge the battery with the generator rather but plugging the car direct to generator is risky

I clearly mentioned DC outlet.
Ac outlet is different from DC outlet.

cars starter motors draw at a go or at once 45A or 65A or 75A etc depending on the car starter make and current rating.

that's a very large current rate which your DC gen output can't supply at all. as dey are usually able to supply not more than 8A to 15a or at most 30amps as can be in DC gens that also have welding machine out put.

again you may distroy your car brain box as gen DC is not as pure as the DC of your accumulator or battery.

Don't do it go and buy b3. simple.

I think I used the wrong term, the battery is flat not dead. So, can I charge the battery with the generator using the DC(12volts) outlet?

Practically, yes you can use a generator to jump start a dead car battery, but the time and means to do it (Tools, Cables, Technical know how)may be harder than just begging your neighbor, friend, mechanic or hire/ buy another one.

But if you still feel adventurous and can cover any unforseen damages then........

Car battery issue can turn someone to something else. You may even think of getting lots of those tiger batteries being used in wall clock tp kick start your car.

I had battery issues during those covid period last year. It was a sad experience. Battery charger guy and myself were best friends then until i eventually got a new battery.

I charged my car battery countless times with the generator DC terminal. 5 mins charge will be enough to start the car.

Do not connect the generator directly to the car. Disconnect the car battery terminals completely before charging only the battery.
