This is seriously serious... All States await the Federal allocation to survive. Now subsidy is taking bulk of NNPC revenue. Provided the Nigeria of today break out, many States banking on Federal allocation will find it difficult to run... Governors need to start working on IGR and invite younger generation for quality innovations to move their State forward . |

Even if the government wants to slash salaries. They should start from theirs, and not the workers who are just managing the stipends they recieve. NewFolm4: |

At this period in time, anything that will make the cost of fuel to go beyond its current cost should be avoided. Otherwise it will generate a lot of damage and such damage will not be good for the country in a time like this. |

Another thing, reduce the cost of governance and see magic. Until then, we will keep emulating Benin Republic... Most of our so called political leaders have nothing doing with politics but this is Nigeria where a career political scientist/politician is reduced to road side newspaper analyst. |

This governors keep talking about reducing workers salaries without cutting down on their political aides and the cost of running their government. Civil servants are on their desk without jobs to do because their jobs have taken over by political appointees. If we purge our systems a lot of funds will freed for meaningful projects. |
