I agree that the league is tougher now but the Man utd, Chelsea sides were quality and would challenge for the league if put in this present era.
That Chelsea i feel were held back a bit by the negative pattern of play by the coaches.
You could see the difference in 2010 when Ancellotti was more expansive.
And even the l'pool side of 08/09 was a top team.

Overall though like i said the league is much better amongst the chasing packs and you can see that the pace of the game has increased and better tactically and technically

Same here, I'm wishing any team with Chelsea players good luck. But my focus is on three: France, England and Germany.

I've always loved Germany and France, especially the German machines. And of course, England is the home of my favorite league. Coincidentally, they each have three chelsea players in this tournament.

But I think Les Bleus have my support the most for this one.
