After that game, people stopped sitting back to admire Fabregas and started treating him the same way Spurs treated him. He could never handle the press in that deep position. That's why Mourinho had to draft in Zouma to calm things down.

The next season, Bournemouth, West Ham etc started targeting him and råping him to run through our midfield and score as we finished 10th.

In football, once a manager exposes a weakness in another team, other managers copy. Fabregas only had a free pass from August 2014 to January 2015 as teams sat back to admire him as he played long passes to Costa. They thought he was a Barca midfielder they can't press. Same happened in Jorginhos first 3 months on Chelsea until Eddie Howe asked David Brooks to press life out of him when Bournemouth flogged us 4-0. After that teams started targeting Jorginho for the next couple of months.

Fabregas played 3 seasons as a starting 11 player for Chelsea. In two of those seasons, we failed to finish top 4. He was chased away to Monaco's from the weakest Chelsea team we have seen in almost 20 years at the age of just 30. He went there and started drilling for oil. I don't know why we have to discuss this guy as if he is a Chelsea God. Those who like those kind of results should go and celebrate it with him on the bench in MonteCarlo.
This is all shade of bias, you conveniently blamed Fabregas for us missing out of top 4 on both occasions, but never gave him credit for the league titles we won. Well, all I know is that no objective minded fan will blame Fabregas for inability to make top 4 and i will keep referencing the game at Leicester city in the same season to prove that Fabregas had nothing to do with abysmal performances in that season. That very game put all this anti Fabregas agenda to the mud.

In this very game,Mourinho decided to buy into your complain that Fabregas was the problem, he benched him and we were already 2-0 down before an hour, only for Fabregas to come in and create a perfect decent chance for costa to squander it,which perfectly summarises what that season was all about. Yes Fabregas is no Chelsea god but history has it that he won us two league titles in the few years with us,just one short of your favourite midfielder who spent donkey years with us.

They supposed to have the match postponed.
UEFA too get sense grin Dem kukuma push the responsibility to the players.. Make nobody come talk say na because of money.. lol..

UEFA go dey imagine the logistics of playing on a different day, how about already ticketed fans, would it be a closed door game? How do they resolve that?

But I get you.. The Danish players are basically in tears warming up to restart the game.

Leave that guy, I played football today but after 40mins, I left the pitch, I cared less what my folks thought of me, I knew I couldn't give it another go...It's really not as easy as it looks...

The dangers are there for every sport...I really don't get why it's even up for debate when Roland17 in his post didn't reference any sport but rather talked about football and football only...

Lol....I wasn't even saying football is an easy job. Just letting you know that you shouldnt expect yourself to last as these professional footballers because it is what they do all day.

But then, there are jobs that are more dangerous than the other.

It was quite scary and he easily could have been dead if response was not swift.. whoever started the chest compressions before the medics arrived with the AED may have saved his life. He was shocked for quite a while to revive him and that tells you the depth of the cardiac arrest..
Truly, the swift response was key. I be don dey pray against another Fabrice Muamba incident.

So happy he's stable now.

He was a substitute in 2017. Save your propaganda.

In 19 years, Chelsea has never failed to qualify for UCL. . . . except 2 of the 3 years that Fabregas was a starting midfielder for Chelsea.

Fabregas only played 3 years as a starting player for Chelsea. 2 of them are in the history books for disgrace.

Go and celebrate such inconsistency on Monaco bench. They should be able to tell you something about Fabregas sending them to historic lows, until they sent him to the bench and returned to their former glory.

Well that was never set up to be a brilliant match IMO...and the emotional rollercoaster they, especially Denmark, have had to pass through must've killed any potential of them putting on a show.
