Take heart. You saw awoof odds and attempted. No crime in trying. Jan got away with taking down Adesanya because of his weight. Vetorri is 185 lbs, Adesanya is 183lbs, Jan is 205lbs. That extra Jan 22 lbs really affected Adesanya. He needs to bulk up before moving up. The fight was going Adesanya way until the final takedown. Vetorri tried the style too but Adesanya was ready for it. Adesanya must improve that area very fast. It seems everyone from now on will be attempting to take him down. Adesanya still has Jan's loss in his mind. He had 2 opportunities to knock out Vettori but he was being careful.

He’s actually correct. The middleweight is for fighters weighing between 77-84kg while the welterweight is for fighters weighing between 71-77kg. Israel, despite his skinny stature is a heavier fighter than Usman.
