Call me Kenny
I’ll be sharing the inception,processes of our farm cultivation for 2021
2020 was a good year we made profit but our revenue was reduced due to bad weather no loss so far but our profit wasn’t maximized
We are ready for the new farming season so sit back relax,view,comment and give your opinion with regards to our operation
Our produce for this year will include maize,tomatoes,rice and cassava

NOTe::our projection is at a minimum of 65 acres

The land clearing started in earnest
We started around Late January and the progress has been good

Am having issues uploading pictures and video don’t know if it’s my network or nairaland itself

Please I’m trying to upload videos but it’s not going through,how do I go about this?

I lost interest in updating cos I’m having difficulty uploading pictures and videos

Following avidly... I'm especially interested in oil palm cultivation.... What vareity did you use and what's the projected time frame to fruition? Where's your plantation located? How about security?

We plant tenera here, and it starts to fruit at 2.5yrs,farm is located at ishaga orile yewa axis of ogun state and I’ve never experienced any form of security breach

Pls how much did you pay per acre in that axis
Is the soil okay for cocoa farming ?
Or just oil palm ?

Most of the soils here are virgin lands and at the moment it goes for 200k upward if you want to buy and the soil is good for just anything plantable

Family receipt and purchase agreement
You’ll most likely have to come with your surveyor to map it out for you as most of this families can’t afford one

It depends on where you’re coming from within Abeokuta,my location within Abeokuta is close to Ita oshin motor park from there it’s a 45min drive
If you are coming from Epe it’s gonn be about 2hr 45m or 3hrs at most

Cos those omoniles and co na big wahala
Knowing fully well that you only have family reciecpt and deed of agreement.
There should be a way one can register the family with the state government.
Maybe as C.of O. Or something

There’s no Fulani settlement around though Fulani do herd there cows along the major road but they’ve never since inception come around the farm location
I don’t know the reason though but they avoid the place like plague

Well that’s if you can go through the stress there’s no issue of omonile the owners both children father mother grandmother grandfather all of them reside in near village

Of course you can get farmlands of 200k around there the closer the farmland is close to the road the more it’s price
