that formation is very fluid, they will attack and defend together as a unit, france wouldn't dorminate possession, they prefer to hit teams on the counter, particularly after winning the ball in midfield, using the pace of mbappe and griezmann to stretch the opposition, Germany just needs to maintain their shape, i'm not worried that much

I think that German midfield of Gundog and Kroos is too soft and France will punch through that middle with Kante's energy

I would have dropped Kroos or Gundogan to accommodate a more energetic midfield like Neuhaus or even Emre Can since Goretzka is injured

They should be alright with 3 centrebacks

BTW, why is Hummels playing and not Boateng? Airmark might have a comment on the matter
