hello everyone , please i need your help concerning this mystic chinese movie that i watched about a decade or so . In the opening scene , a impoverished-looking little chinese girl of not more than ten years old , caught in a rope trap , hanging leg up from a tree while trying to rummage dead soldiers pocket for food .
Enter a young prince of about same age who probably set the the trap asking the girl ,
( who now kept requesting to be cut loose ) why she dared to steal from dead soldiers of his father , the king's army saying something like , " in death , they are my father's slave " .The little prince later grew up to be cold , insompassionate , power driven young king and martial art lord with dark magic , no thanks to " betreyal of love " he experienced from that earlier mentioned little girl that ery first day .
This young king has a man perrenially dressed in black cloak , who can teleport carrying out assasinations for him .A man from the people of another realm , not of our world , where they used to be all clad in white , living in peace , guided by the light of truth , untill a tyrranic prince broke ito their realm through dark magic . . . . . . . . .

I watched this movie a long time ago, alot flew over my head back then at just how good an investigator Jack Reacher is, but not this time. I think its one of the best Crime movies I have watched this year.
Lovely build up.
If you are the type that understands how effective causing injury to the body is, you will appreciate the few fight scenes, not flashy but very very effective. The kind of movie Tom Cruise comes alive.
Knowing how intricate this case is I think its only Sherlock Holmes that could have been smart enough to unravel the motive behind the murders.
