I want to know if studying fisheries as a course at the university level is a good idea in our present nigeria. I don't really dream about government job, i just love the course with my whole LIFE. The only thing on my mind is to graduate, hustle for two to three years and start my own fish farm as little as i can and start writing my history from there. I am not a fan of quick money,. i can start as little as i can and keep on believing in God to make my business grow big so that i will employ others too.
I would like to get sugestions on which states or zone in the country that have high demand for fish. THANKS

How I wish I were in your shoes bros. Please study hard and make sure you understand the core concepts taught. Forget about first-class or 2.1 ; what matters is your understanding of the discipline. Once you can do this, wallahi you'll go places

Away from the raising fish, there are a whole lot of problems in the fishery sector that needs solution. Studying hard and making a determined effort will help you position yourself for greatness.

The fish farmers are yet to come to terms with the issue of mortality. This has closed many fish farms. Thus, if you can delve into this and seek to offer help here, then the sky is your starting point.
