Same World Cup where Iniesta had no goal or assist until a lucky break in the final
Lampard would commit a Heist of Abramovich's wealth for a trade off of Iniesta's World Cup goal.

Only CMs at Etebo level would go a year without a league goal or an assist. grin grin
Even Etebo led his midfield to win a bronze for his country. Lampard is nothing without Roman's money.

Foden at 20 for England is already far better than Lampard.

You tell me. Apparently he received 3 assists per season on average from Iniesta in the time they played together
Evidence is what they won with him and without him .

Can Ibime and Airmark pinpoint any match in 10 years Lampard had with England that the English fans won't ever forget? Just one.

Shame on you for using year when Lampard was 35yrs to prove anything. There must be a huge dearth of points to nail Lampard. grin
Rest

How old was Drogba when he joined us back? You are the one lacking ammunition to defend Lampard.

Tell us what he won at his peak with the 3 lions?

Lampard was England National team Player of the year in 2004 and 2005.

This is Euro 2004 top goalscorers list. He also had 2 assists that tournament.

Can you show me any tournament Iniesta went to with this level of output, rather than relying on Xavi assists to see Spain through all their games till he got to one final and got a lucky break

Maybe surely if he wasnt after hell bent on outscoring everyone else,he would have won something with like iniesta did for his national team. Check out how we were able to go all the way in the UCL when mata came and Lampard had to be dropped at the base of the midfield.

Exactly why high scoring midfielders like Bruno, Lampard etc are overrated. Lampard/Bruno ( last season) impressive goal scoring ability repeatedly (predictably) disappears against the top clubs, because the top clubs are typically the clubs that don't allow players like Lampard/Bruno to stat-pad.. A player like Lampard just can't make his goal scoring ability count against the top clubs nor in the World Cup nor in the Euros .
Lampard like Bruno only shows us against small teams to stat pad and against the top teams his record is exactly the same as unproductive Iniesta minus penalities grin grin

KO stage of the Champions League, against top tier clubs (goals):

Lampard 2006-2012: 6 games vs. Barcelona (one PK goal), 6 games vs. Liverpool (2 open-play goals and one PK goal), 2 games vs. Inter Milan (zero goals), one Final vs. Manchester United (one open-play goal), another 2 games vs. Manchester United (zero goals), and another Final vs. Bayern Munich (zero goals). Total: 3 open-play goals, 2 penalty kicks, out of 22 games.

Iniesta 2008-2015: 4 games vs. Chelsea (2 open-play goals), 6 games vs. Bayern Munich (zero goals), 2 games vs. Inter (zero goals), 2 games vs. Real Madrid (zero goals), 4 games vs. AC Milan (one open-play goal), 2 games vs. Atletico Madrid (zero goals), 2 Finals vs. Manchester United Total: 3 open-play goals, zero penalty kicks, out of 22 games.

No one cares about the bold, just as no one cares about Milan Baros right now.

This is what Spain will not forget in their history, and Iniesta was the star of the show.

Just imagine Lampard with the picture below... Roman should have bought the 3 Lions for Lampard to have a chance. What a pity!

You mean the same Mata that was inconsequential to Chelsea UCL victory and was always getting dropped or dragged off early for Kalou while Lampard was setting up Ramirez twice to beat Barca.

No Chelsea fan has anything to say about Mata in UCL 2012. Kalou and Meireles were more important than him. Below is our match at Camp Nou

You are a disgrace of a Chelsea fan.

He used the Russian money to book himself a ticket to the beach while his mates were playing Euro 200[/s]8
This is Iniesta seeing Lampard as his master. grin

Iniesta : "Lampard is a reference in football, both in England and worldwide. I can't say much more about him.

"He is really experienced both at club and international level. He's got all my respect and huge credit to him as he's one of those players you can look at and learn."

Nothing is loud here . Your penalty merchant couldn't make euro 2008 at the expense of Croatia with all this goal and assists records. That one should be louder beside pls save your hypocrisy. One thing is certain,if there was something for determining someone's passion towards Chelsea and I happen to be among first 100 you wont be among 1000.

Successful teams don't depends on goalscoring midfielder one of the reasons why England during lampard era won nothing. Successful nations are ones without useless statpadding attacking midfielders.

Spain never produced one (World Cup 2010, Euro 2008 and 2012), Barcelona didn't have one (Champions League 2010, 2011, 2015), Real Madrid didn't have one (Champions League 2014 and 2016), Germany didn't have one (World Cup 2014), Italy didn't have one (World Cup 2006).

Talking like Bayern was big then . These are their records grin

Bayern Munich 2003-2009: eliminated in the Preliminary Group (2002-03), eliminated in the Round of 16 by Real Madrid (2003-04), eliminated in the Quarter Finals by Chelsea (2004-05), eliminated in the Round of 16 by AC Milan (2005-06), eliminated in the Quarter Finals by AC Milan (2006-07), did not even qualified to the Champions League (2007-08), eliminated in the Quarter Finals by Barcelona (2008-09).

I didn't include assist for Iniesta so keep those in your pockets cheesy grin grin.

Chelsea 2014/2015 without Lampard - Epl and carabo cup.

How old was Lampard for him to still be leading the team to epl title. And also, was Drogba a starter for the team that won 2014/15 epl title us.

So AC Milan was a big club that you counted for Iniesta? Or Chelsea in 2018 was a big club.

Iniesta one goal against big clubs in UCL and that was at Stamford Bridge in 2009. That's it.

If Lampard had accepted to go to Barca, there is no tournament that Barca will not win especially those games Iniesta will be waiting for Messi to carry him along, and Messi is unable to save him every time.

Iniesta would have been dragging left wing with Henry at best, if not sent on loan.
